Account & Subscription

How do I cancel my subscription? +

Log in to the DJI Mission Planner and click Manage subscription in the top bar. This opens the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

I subscribed but can’t access the planner. What do I do? +

First, make sure you are logged in with the same email address you used to register on this site. If you paid using Apple Pay or a different email address, your access may not have been linked automatically. Please contact us using the form below and we will resolve it promptly.

I didn’t receive my confirmation email. What should I do? +

Check your spam or junk folder first. If it’s not there, go back to the DJI Mission Planner page and click Resend confirmation email. If you still don’t receive it, contact us below.

Can I use the planner on multiple devices? +

Yes. Your subscription is tied to your account, not a specific device. Log in from any desktop or laptop browser.

How do I update my payment method? +

Log in to the planner and click Manage subscription to access the Stripe customer portal, where you can update your card details.

Using the Planner

Which drones are supported? +

The mission planner currently generates missions compatible with the DJI Mini 4 Pro using the DJI RC controller with DJI Fly app.

What file format does the planner export? +

Missions are exported as KMZ files using DJI’s WPML (Waypoint Markup Language) format, which is compatible with the DJI Fly app waypoint mission feature.

How do I load my mission onto the DJI controller? +
My KMZ file won’t load on the controller. What’s wrong? +

Make sure the file is saved to the correct folder on your controller and SD card:

  • DJI_STORAGE/WAYPOINT/
  • SD_CARD/WAYPOINT/

The mission must be present in both locations. See Tutorial 4 for full instructions.

The map isn’t loading. What should I try? +

Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, try a different browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended) or clear your browser cache. The planner requires a stable internet connection to load map tiles.

Can I edit a mission after exporting it? +

Currently, missions need to be recreated in the planner if changes are required. We recommend noting your mission settings before exporting.

Technical Requirements

What browsers are supported? +

The planner works best in modern desktop browsers:

  • Google Chrome (recommended)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Safari (macOS)

Mobile browsers are not recommended due to the map interface requiring a larger screen.

Do I need to install any software? +

No. The planner runs entirely in your browser. No plugins or downloads are required to plan and export missions.

Regulations

Do I need a licence to fly waypoint missions in Australia? +

The DJI Mini 4 Pro (under 250g) can be flown without a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) under the standard operating conditions. However, automated waypoint missions must still comply with all CASA rules including flying within visual line of sight and below 120m AGL. Always check current regulations at casa.gov.au/drones.
